I heart you poems is another fun little exercise for poetry writing that will help you write some more fun and exciting poems.
The theme of this challenge is to use the words “I Heart You” in your poem and write about anything you want to write about – it doesn’t necessarily need to be about love or relationships to be a good poem.
Here’s some of our examples:

I have you
in my head
the words
inside my heart
the love inside the dark
your poem is beautiful your
time is a word I can’t understand.

Two Hearts Sitting on a Bench
There are two hearts sitting on a bench
and they’ve only now just met
and the one asks the other
how he got on the bench
and he tells the story of abandonment
and misery
and then that heart asks the other heart
what brought it to the bench
and the answer was love,
because when love is in misery
it needs another heart to hold.
You and Me
You and me
are perfect as can be
You and me
belong in a tree
a really big tall tree
one with lots of leaves
one that lets us be together
without anyone interrupting us.
You and me
let’s swing up high
let’s swing all night
the branches will never let us go
because i heart you.
When Your Heart Hurts
When your heart hurts,
I will bring you the band aid
I will give you the syrup
the happily ever after magic kiss
that makes it all better.
When your heart hurts,
I will do what it takes
to make it not hurt anymore
so you can go back to loving again
When your heart hurts,
I will give you mine to hold.
I Heart You
I heart houses.
I heart New York.
I heart apple juice.
I heart a fork.
I heart cats.
I heart dogs.
I heart horses,
I even heart frogs.
But of all these things
there’s only one that matters the most:
Yes, it is that
I heart YOU.
