Distance Between Us
Scent of her hair lingering in day
even when a thousand miles apart
where other lovers faded in time
truth, a lost and forgotten art
There is no distance between us
no matter what our bodies say
insurmountable odds seem so easy
our love will find a way
A moment lost is a lifetime of regret
nothing shines so true to me
a faded past in an empty frame
in this world you are all I see
Loves rendition plays all around us
echoing in our hearts and mind
there is no distance between us
our love is one of a kind
